Adsorbed about 81% of aflatoxin B1 in an in vitro poultry gastrointestinal model, less than the smectites tested in the same study, and also retained trace minerals (Hernández-Martínez et al., 2023); zearalenone adsorption by the natural form is very low (Daković et al., 2005)
Intestinal Health
In LPS-challenged broilers, 2% natural clinoptilolite attenuated intestinal mucosal injury and the inflammatory response (Wu et al., 2013)
